Would you be able to deal with a locked bootloader on Asus ROG Phone 5? I would be so happy to degoogle. Any of the Linux Mobile options would be even better. It's 500km for me though.
Such “survey clickbait” erodes society’s self-esteem, said Duke University political scientist Sunshine Hillygus: It “undermines people's trust that the American public is capable of self-governance.”
@rbreich Does it really matter? There is no such thing as TRUTH for this individual. He is one of the biggest, fattest LIARS out there! He has no ethics, no morals whatsoever. So what is an interview worth with him? Nothing! Less than nothing. It is wasted time and effort and US-Citizens shouldn't expect anything from it ...
@rbreich Oh its free, free for the companies and corporations to charge and sell you whatever. they want.with no guarantees or price limits. The Beast has been totally unleashed.
@arstechnica Not even "PC emulators." DOS emulators! Not exactly a big competitor. Or a competitor at all...
This is a good reminder of why a wildly proprietary gated device and library was never ok. Eventually they'll change their minds and come around after all the flak and when the higher ups realize that emulating a DOS system isn't exactly going to send people flooding to the competition or cause rampant piracy or whatever, but it doesn't change that this happens in the first place.
As we look ahead to tomorrow's debate, I encourage you to pause and delve into this thought-provoking piece by Jay Kuo from The Big Picture. In a media landscape often dominated by sensationalism and pessimism, Kuo offers a refreshing perspective that encourages us to look beyond the noise and embrace optimism. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/10-reasons-optimistic-biden-2024
@georgetakei there are worse things than pizza and slices. I don't know if you're aware, but there is an apparition out there among people who actually cut pizzas into squares!! But I have heard a rumor that there are even some that go beyond that and eat pizza with a knife and fork! Hard to believe, I know!
@georgetakei I believe that Island was named when California was part of Spain. The fort, barracks, and prison were named for the island and later when that was converted to a federal prison the old name continued. I would absolutely support renaming it jailhouse Rock! Although there might be an IP issue with using that name, someone should absolutely check that out! 😁
@georgetakei This reminds of a sci fi movie I saw recently where the characters found a portal to another dimension where time moved differently and they used it to have some extra time to do some computer coding.
